Basic operations
Person cards are moved by dragging (the lines follow, staying straight horizontally and vertically).
Drag on an empty area to select a range: the people you enclose can be moved, deleted or put in a household box together (Ctrl+click also selects several).
Relationship lines can be adjusted by dragging too: couple lines move left and right, parent–child and sibling lines up and down. Double-click puts them back.
Clicking a person or a line brings up a menu at the top of the screen: edit or delete, or press the Delete key to delete.
To move the view (pan), use Space+drag or drag with the mouse-wheel button; turn the wheel to zoom; double-click to add a person.
In the chat (💬 Quick build) you can use the buttons or type free sentences such as “enclose Yamada Taro and Yamada Hanako in a household box”.
If something is missing (such as the decedent's date of death), a ⚠ button appears next to the title. Click it to see the list of items to check and jump to the relevant part.

About the saved file
The save format is a JSON file specific to this tool. In supported browsers (Chrome / Edge), a dialog opens to choose the destination folder, and the tool remembers the folder you used last time. From the second “Save” onward, the same file is overwritten, and the number of saves and the last update time are recorded inside the file. In other browsers, the file is saved to the “Downloads” folder. Files from older versions can be opened as they are.
